Asus ZenFone 3 Max: Enabling Developer Options

One of the challenges that I went through in order to transfer files to my computer and vice versa was finding and enabling the Developer options.

Before owning a Zenfone 3 Max, I’d been a long time iPhone user. Despite that fact, I know that Developer options is just beneath the Settings menu of an Android phone because I owned a Samsung smartphone a long ago, and I still remember it [the option].

I tried hard to find it until I found out that it needs a trick to show up.

I’m not a tech savvy, but I’m a thinkerer. Because of that, I found a way to make the Developer options to show up.

What I did is I went to Settings > About > Software Information, and tapped on Build number continuously until I got the prompt below.

No need, you are already a developer

When I went back to the Settings menu, voila! the Developer option is already on the list.
