How to Embed Google Map in a Post?

Windows Live Write always crashes every time I try to embed Google map in a post. It’s having difficulty fetching the data that’s why it only crashes. Sometimes, I’m getting this error message:

This content cannot be displayed in a frame
To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.

If you are having the same issue, the best way to embed Google map is through Blogger dashboard. You can create a post in WLW and them embed the map later on in Blogger.

You will not most likely get an error if you do that. Plus, it’s easy to customize the map through Blogger dashboard.

Here’s how to embed Google map on your blog post:

1. Go to maps.google.com

2. Search a specific place or location. e.g. Disneyland Park, Disneyland Railroad, Anaheim, CA, United States3. If you are now ready to export the map to your blog, click Link button beside Print. See screenshot below.

4. Copy the the second code snippet (HTML)

5. Go to Blogger. Create a new post or edit a previous post.

6. Click HTML mode.

7. Paste the code you copied from Google Maps.

-If you want the map centered, click on alignment icon then select centered.

-If you want to adjust the height and width of the map, go back to HTML mode then change height= and width= values. After that, go back to Compose mode and check the changes you made.
